Springdale Shou-Sugi
For this Springdale residence built by Neal Hefner Construction in 2022, we installed custom Shou Sugi Ban siding—an ancient Japanese wood preservation technique that involves charring the surface to enhance durability and bring out deep, dramatic grain textures. The cubed, geometric architecture of the home required precise execution and clean lines, making the project both technically demanding and incredibly rewarding to complete.
