In 2021, we had the opportunity to work on The Pond House, installing all wood siding, all interior trim work, and building a small, creative shop space tailored to the homeowners.

This project was full of thoughtful details: a flat-sawn oak ceiling with a skylight brings warmth and light into the main living space, while the primary bathroom features rich walnut paneling and a hidden door for a clean, uninterrupted look. We also built a charred wood fireplace surround that adds a striking focal point whilst hiding the television when not in use.

Outside, the back porch overlooks the project’s namesake pond. It’s fully wrapped in painted pine shiplap, with vertically oriented 2x12 cedar columns that add volume and rhythm while cleverly concealing the integrated screen system—making the space comfortable and usable year-round.
